For the most part, I qualify as an organized person. I don’t often forget appointments and my house looks put together. Paperwork is submitted in a timely fashion and I almost never pay the bills late.
However, the reality is, I’m relatively disorganized. Sure, you might find that travel mug you’re looking for with the other travel mugs or you might find it hiding in with the canned good — and I have no idea why I put it there! 😀
My art supplies are the worst. Seriously, I’m not entirely sure how many paint brushes I own because I somehow lose them. It’s bad — for reals!
It’s not uncommon for me to paint a canvas, put on all the finishing touches, and set it to the side. Only to forget it.
Thankfully, our recent move forced to assess all that I’ve accumulated and evaluate each formally lost item. The process is still in progress but so far it’s been fun!
The strangest part of the re-discovered canvases are the similarities. I’ve found five canvases that all hold a similar vibe. I grouped them together and I began the process of discovering their message.
Over and over again, the word “Laughter” was what the Holy Spirit brought to mind.
I’ve been working to prepare these five canvases for a mini collection launch in my Etsy shop but I wanted to start introductions now.
The young lions roar for their prey, seeking their food from God. -Psalm 104: 21
This beauty is fondly names “Roar.” She’s loaded with gold, bronze, and purple.
“Roaring with laughter” is a phrase used to indicated loud, continuous laughter. It is a reflection of deep, rich enjoyment that erupts out of person. A roaring laughter cares little about who it may disturb as it is focused on the provision of laughter at the moment. A roar is confident and uninhibited by the constraints that convention may place upon it.
A young lion roars with confidence as it seeks provision from its Creator.
I imagine the Proverbs 31 woman roaring with laughter as she faces life with strength and dignity.
Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. -Proverbs 31: 25
She’s unconcerned about the days ahead. She knows God will provide for needs as they arise. Wrinkles and grey hairs will appear but instead of waging a constant battle against them, she embraces them with dignity.
“Roar” is a painting that declares “I’m confident” and it proclaims a confidence in the Only All-Powerful One.
“Roar” isn’t available yet but she’s coming soon!
