This world-wide web is loaded with information, inspiration, and a whole heck of a lot of interesting stuff. The thing we call the Internet is full of strange, weird, and beautiful things. Yes, there are a lot of un-healthy, ugly, and down-right terrible things there too but, at the end of the day, I think it’s something rad.
I’m sure that if I looked I would find some completely subjective chart that would tell me what kind of person, woman, or Christian I am based upon the way I like my coffee but I don’t really wanna know.
Sometimes those “evaluations” linger in my head. Knowing myself, I would end up considering that “result” every time I poured myself a cup of coffee. That is certainly something I do not want!
Whether I’m considering the day ahead of me or meditating on some part of Scripture, coffee is my thinking drink.
But the only way I’ll consume my thinking drink is with cream! Preferably a delightful creamer with just the right amount of sweet. One of my favorites is actually my own chocolate-y creation!
Chocolate Coffee Creamer
- 2 Cups Milk
- 14 oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 3 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- In a medium sauce pan, whisk cocoa powder and 1 cup milk over medium heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Add the other cup of milk, sweetened condensed milk, and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract and pour into serving bottle.
My serving bottle is from Aldi. They sell this amazing French lemonade in a beautiful glass bottle. We keep the bottles after enjoying the lemonade and use it for creamer, storing drinks from bottles that don’t close so easily, and other miscellaneous stuff.
The creamer is sweet so I just add a bit to my coffee sans sugar. The creamer will need to be shaken before use because the chocolate settles. I’ve tried various things to keep the creamer from separating but in the end it’s just best to give the bottle a few good shakes before use. Enjoy! 🙂
